Today, my girlfriend broke up with me because apparently, I'm a drug addict who can't speak without slurring and stumbling with my words. I have a recurring speech impediments and the stammer is definitely real. FML

Does she know you have a speech impediment? If it's an actual condition she should know about it. If she does know and still thinks this, sounds like she's trying to get rid of you, in which case you've dodged a bullet.

People generally don't stick around to settle down with drug addicts regardless of whether or not they have slurred speech... might wanna sober up if a long-term relationship is what you're after.

my husband has a speech impediment too that makes him slur his words. it comes out when he's tired, drunk, stoned. but your ex girl needs to understand that
