Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, I fell down the stairs and landed heavily on my foot. Because I wasn't crying, my mom refused to take me to the hospital. It took me an hour of agony to convince her. It turned out to be broken in three different places. FML
Today, my lazy, obese mother took the last motor cart at the grocery store. My leg is in a cast. She told me to "use the shopping cart to help with the limp" as she rolled away. FML
Today, I'm on bed rest after a major surgery. I can walk to the bathroom but can barely raise my hands. At the hospital, my mom gave this dramatic speech of being there whenever I needed her. When I asked her to come make me breakfast, she didn’t show up til noon then complained I was in a bad mood. FML
Today, I slipped and fell down the stairs, landing hard on my knee. Through my screams of agony, my mom accused me of exaggerating the pain, and said I was just being an attention seeker, before finally taking me to hospital. I was told my leg was broken. She refused to apologize. FML
Today, I fell down a flight of stairs at college. I was taken to hospital with a fractured ankle and had to call my parents to drive me home. They constantly made passive-aggressive remarks on the way home, because I'd "totally ruined" their plans to eat out at a fancy restaurant tonight. FML
Today, my dad picked me up from school, something he'll be doing while my broken leg heals. He thought it'd be hilarious to arrive early and ask the staff where his "crippled" son was, loudly saying I'd broken my leg in a "masturbation-related accident". FML
Today, I came home from a knee surgery. I asked my mother to get me a glass of water. She replied, "You can get it, you're not crippled. Oh wait, yeah you are!" and laughed hysterically. FML
Today, I was released from hospital after being in a car accident. I used the phone book to call people I know to get a ride home, as my wallet and cellphone were still in the wrecked car. I had called my mom to come get me, but her response was "I don't feel like it." I live with her. FML
Today, I'm lying in a hospital bed with two broken leg bones, a reattached tendon, and four screws holding my leg together. Why? Because I wanted chocolate milk and some asshat didn't see me walking across the road. FML
Today, I was walking to my mailbox when I fell down and couldn't get up. My neighbor walked by with his dog, took one look at me struggling, said, "What is wrong with kids these days, drunk at 9 a.m.?" and continued on. I couldn't get up because I'm still healing from a stress fracture in my hip. FML

Another excuse by a fatty to not exercise :(

First off being "fat" has nothing to do with it, there are HEALTHY overweight people. It's called genetics. It's hard to walk on a broken foot, no need to be rude.
MissHayleyJames 7
Oh my God someone else actually gets it! THERE IS HOPE FOR US ALL! I'll never understand why genetics can make it impossible for someone to put on weight, but people think it's impossible for genetics to make it near impossible to lose weight.

People use 'fatty' or 'fatass' to shame thin people who don't want/are unable to walk as well. His mother could just be a bloody wanktosser, and is probably on the list of people who should not have children, ever. Hope you posted this FML from your home computer, OP, and not your mobile phone whilst sitting in the hospital canteen.

In the case of never gaining weight, could be a case of fast metabolism. Only problem with that, one is that you run out of energy faster, and two is that you might get colder easier. In my case, anyways, but hey, it's Canada, when isn't it at least a lil chilly? :3

Ya my husband is 6'6 and can't get above about 178. He luckily doesn't have problems with energy and he's always hot lol.

that's something my mom would say...

I can't believe 37 hit YDI for this one. 37 people are soulless abominations. OP may be fat, but he can start exercising when his foot heals.

What a mean mama. Even as old as I am if I needed my mama for anything she would be right there for me. Sorry op. I hope she was kidding and texted you right back she was on her way to get you.

Holy ****, you can't be serious? 1. You can't spell for shit. 2. It's not possible to break your leg if your fat. 3. Don't care? Are you the bad parent? Educate yourself before you type, asshole.
Valdrek 26
87- of course it's possible to break you leg from being fat, some fatties can't even walk due to 250kg plus of fat with the threat of the wight snapping the bones like toothpicks. You can even collapse your own lungs and break your ribs from being too fat. Now I think it's safe to say OP isn't that fat as per my above example, but still... Educate yourself before you comment bud.
DocBastard 40
Valdrek, you just keep digging your hole deeper and deeper, don't you? I've been a doctor for *censored* years, and I've never once seen a patient who broke a rib or collapsed a lung (or broke a leg for that matter) simply due to obesity. I would grant that perhaps superobese patients may be at a higher risk of falling and breaking something, but bones don't just "snap like toothpicks" spontaneously.

Can you borrow a wheelchair from the hospital? Then at least you could roll home and get a great arm workout.
