Today, I received a text from my girlfriend's female best friend that they have been dating for the last month. This was the week of our one year anniversary, and my birthday. We just moved into a duplex with my name on the lease. FML

On one hand it's respectable that they came to you with honesty instead of simply ******* behind your back, but on the other hand it probably doesn't hurt any less. I'm sorry you're going through this. If your friend isn't already your roommate, maybe she can agree to take over your part of the lease so you're not stuck living in such a hurtful situation that they both had a hand in putting you in. If she is one of your roommates, maybe they'll be open to you removing yourself from the lease? Whatever the case, it's probably best to get out. If you keep the baby, you'll want to be in a supportive environment (especially during the 4th trimester) and not somewhere that puts you in emotional turmoil.
