Today, after a discussion, my boyfriend said, "I think it's time you found somebody better." After I gave him a look, he continued, "For me." FML
Today, my boyfriend of two years told his friend that he decided a long time ago that he would never be faithful to a woman. I was sitting next to him. FML
Today, my boyfriend admitted that he never thought we had a future together. He just wanted to move in together so he could get "cheaper rent for a while." FML
Today, my boyfriend of two years told me that he sees no future with me. It's alright though, because he says we can still "coast along" until he meets someone else. FML
Today, my boyfriend of two years proposed to me. Less than two minutes later, he decided he wasn't ready for the commitment. After I had already said yes. FML
Today, my boyfriend of a year decided to confess to me that almost everything he has told me in our relationship has been a lie. This includes telling me that he was single when we first met, telling me that he loved me, and telling me that I was beautiful. FML
Today, my fiancé of two years told me he was bored of me and he'd just prolonged the engagement to see if anyone more interesting would come along in the mean time. He was upset because no one did. FML
Today, my boyfriend of three years who I helped through drug rehab and find employment in my office left me for someone else. His explanation was that now that his "head is not clouded with chemicals" and he "makes decent money", he wants to settle down with someone worthy of him. FML
Today, my boyfriend admitted he didn't want to marry me, not because he doesn't want to spend his life with me, but because he'd seen two friends get ruined by divorce settlements, and he "doesn't want my hooks in him." I love him with all my heart and would never dream of pulling a marriage con. FML
Today, my boyfriend of 3 months decided to end our long-distance relationship out of the blue, because he "lost interest" and "our families don't approve" and "you deserve better than me" and "I'm holding you back." He took my heart and shattered against the wall. FML

I have no idea how this is a bad thing. He thinks he got the best that he can and he is satisfied with you. Thats all you can really hope for in a relationship isn't it, getting the best you can.

The way she has worded it makes it sound really bad, but you could also look at it this way; if he claimed he can't do any better than her, that means she's the best thing he's ever had and will ever have. I think this has been looked at way too negatively, but it's actually a compliment.

I bet this is how it went down: Boy - *tries to be romantic* "I couldn't have done any better than you" OP - "Wait, so you settled? You asshole!" Boy - "No, that's not what I meant, I meant that you're the best--" OP - "Go away! I hate you!" At least that's the image I get in my head when OP says 'accidentally'. It's probably just a misunderstanding on OP's part and bad word choices on the boyfriend's part.

I agree with 9. All women are beautiful. Whether it's inside, outside, or like 90 said with some being more beautiful, both. There is such thing as inner beauty, and that's what tends to matter most as strange as that may sound to other guys out there. I know that I personally find inner beauty way more important than outer beauty, even though I'm a guy. Anyone who truly believes not all women are beautiful are ignorant and closed-minded.
