Unfair dismissal

Today, I got fired from my new job. It was the start of my third week, and I got fired for not opening the store. The manager forgot to give me keys to open the store, and was two hours late. FML

Why didn't you give your boss a wake-up call? Your #1 priority as an employee is to make your boss look good. Letting him oversleep made him look like a lazy, irresponsible ass. Yes, he's a lazy, irresponsible ass, but you're supposed to cover that up!

If you knew you were supposed to open the store, you should have asked for the key... Sorry you got fired but it's part of the job.
