The fact that he’s just your “man” and not your husband shows that you haven’t ensnared him in that Roach Motel called marriage.
It “can” be a good thing, but often, it is not :(
I am a regular on FML, Sherlock, so you figure it out.
Just ask him what he meant, it could be he meant it as endearing
Maybe he was talking about the game?
There’s a few things. First off make sure there was no misinterpretation. Second if you did actually overhear this or it was said in front of you that’s too much disrespect to bear. Sounds like you’ve been with someone 5 damn years and y’all aren’t married or at least engaged, serious partners, something along those lines. If he’s immaturely playing games talking about you with his friends then tell him he’s free from the “trap” of this relationship and move on with your life before more time gets wasted
Relax! It was more than likely a joke. And a funny one at that!
Have you considered the possibility that they were just joking around and not being serious? He was gaming with childhood friends, I’d say them just joking around is a pretty high possibility.
look, ladies, we should really start abolishing the idea of "love at first sight". that shit is usually just up to our genitals anyway (male or female) and rarely works out. some relationships form over time. Entrapment, if you haven't seen the movie, is just a bunch of kids putting their single parents together to have them fall in love (I misremember the plot probably). So just because he wasn't head over heals in love with you at first sight, doesn't mean he doesn't love you now. So get over yourself. LIFE IS NOT A FUCKING FAIRY TALE!
