Today, we found out that the drinks we've had for our Christmas party at work yesterday were expired. For anything between six and eleven months. All of us drank them. FML

Today, I found a small bottle of chocolate milk in the fridge from McDonald's. I've been living with my grandparents while going to college and figuring they'd never drink it themselves, I took a sip. It had expired two years ago. FML

Today, I learned that instead of discarding expired products at my work, we change the label to make them 'expire' later. FML

Today, my parents were having a Christmas party. They went out to get the vodka in our garage fridge, only to find most of it was frozen. Knowing vodka doesn't freeze, they soon realized that I had been taking some and refilling it with water over the past two months. FML

Today, I opened up a can of tomato soup I'd taken from my parents' house recently. After eating the whole can, I started feeling a little off, so I checked the expiration date. It expired 12 years ago. FML

Today, I was pouring milk into my coffee and, as it plooped into my mug, I noticed the expiration date on the jug passed 2 weeks ago. Nobody here drinks milk very often and I ran out of creamer so I've been unknowingly drinking my coffee with curdled milk for the past 3 days. FML

Today, my workplace often leaves out "expired" food from the café that our department coincides with, as it is wasteful to throw away perfectly fine cuisine. I soon discovered that the inside of a seemingly normal looking cupcake was actually filled with mold when I took a large mouthful of it. FML

If it was the day before you would know if there was any issues (key word issues) with them by now.

Expired? Or Best Before? If it was soda or something alcoholic, I doubt there was anything wrong with them. If it was juice, you would've noticed if it had gone off

This reminds me of my 30th birthday party, when a friend brought a rack of beer that he grabbed from a local convenience place... We found it was expired and it became an instant joke. It wasn't my beer of choice, so I had leftovers for ages and we ended up keeping a couple cans in the back of the fridge for when we felt like daring someone with a "fridge beer"... Just FYI, Bud Light is basically gasoline 18+ months after the printed date.
