I've had this happen and I always feel so stupid when I finally realize what's happening. I usually realize it when after I've "answered" the call I get mad/confused because I still hear ringing and then it turns that I'm talking to my hand.

I've woken up with my hand against my face because I was dreaming about having a phone conversation. It happens. I actually had to text my friend to make sure his wife hadn't actually gone into labor, because it all seemed so real and it actually was something that really could have happened.
