Today, since my neighbor bought two cows and put them in his garden, the smell discourages any potential buyers who come to visit my house that’s been for sale for a month. FML

Depending on where you live you might be able to report him for having the cows in a non approved area

Just tell him to move his cows for a month or so and once someone buys the house he can move them back to the garden. I'm sorry but I know it's not fair play.

Use the cows to make Milkshakes. It always brings the boys to the yard. Then show them the house and tell them "it's better than yours." You may or may not sell your home but at least you benefited from those cows.

The neighborhood housing committee might be able to do something about it. That is if you have one. If enough people complain they could make him move or get rid of them if stated in the original contract.
