If it's your cat and not hers then she may be right. If I'm gone to often my cat will knock down my curtains as payback. Some pets need more attention than others.

I'm not home a lot and it pains me when I think that I'm neglecting my cat. Sometimes I'll have her spend the weekend at my parents (they love her). However, she's old and fat and doesn't seem to care lol. We cuddle when I'm here and I spoil her.

It's an understandable concern. First, instability at home, then, catnip addiction to fill the void. Starts off as fabric mice and just escalates. You don't even know.
