I have to say I am all for legalizing pot but it is addictive just like any other substance and can have both mental and physical withdrawal properties to it such as not being able to sleep after coming off of it yeah maybe it's not as bad as other drugs but it's still addictive and can cause withdrawals but your mom needs to mellow out using it once doesn't qualify for an addictive personality ... Hooray for drugs! Ha jk
