Today, my friend found a picture of herself on a website filled with pictures of thin people. I was in the picture, also. I was crossed-out with the word, "EWW" written next to me. FML
I agree, your life sucks 34 155
You deserved it 4 326

Same thing different taste

I am so sorry. I bet it was one of those pro-ana sites. Dont think about it, they only like deadly thin people

Tbf, it does sound like one of those pro-ana sites, so possibility is she's not actually fat at all, just not skinny. But even if she is fat, it's still a hurtful thing for her to find.

Argh im going on the fact that your average and there all anarexic Im tired of hugging anarexic girls in college scared i might snap them in half So please for the love of girls keep a bit of meat on Thankyou for your time

I was gonna say the same, if it's a site of stick thin barbie girls, be happy that they don't find you attractive =)

The problem is, chaos, that the perception of what is "fat" is terribly skewed these days. So naturally, the perception of what is "skinny" is also skewed in the opposite direction. If you are normal, you are fat. If you are skinny, you are anorexic. Sad world we live in.

(comment disappeared, can't edit, baw..) Anyway, also, I am skinny, and I am terribly so in that my ribs and hips, do, in fact, stick out. You know what's the most terrible part? People DO find that "attractive." I've had multiple girls tell me they wish they had my "gorgeous figure," yes, even if I lift up my shirt to show my ribs, they still claim I'm beautiful or some stupid shit and go on about how fat they are (when really? they're skinny too, or normal). I find it all fairly disgusting. So it is likely OP is just normal.

I'm skinny too but natural. I'm 85lbs n 13 I gained lyk 17lbs yay lol c? sum ppl don't wanna b stick skinny I can fit my hand around my ankle

Damn bonita, trying to read what you said gave me cancer. Why must you type like a ******* idiot? It takes more time to look stupid when typing than it does to do it right the first time... One of the rules on this site is to not spell like a 6 year old.

Since when was being able to fit your hand around your ankle something to be proud of? I've had weight problems before due to being fat under the media standards, so now I'm trying to gain weight. I'm 13 as well, and for a 13 year old you should weigh around 112lbs-140lbs. You're not natural, I don't know whether this sounds harsh but you should gain weight, it's better to be average than skinny in my opinion :)

She still could be natural. I am tall but did not get over 100lbs until I was 17, it was natural for me. I eat a ton, I've just always had a fast metabolism, and an active life which made gaining weight almost impossible for me. I really hated being told I was unnatural or anorexic, especially since it's not social acceptable to mock fat people but it's okay to tease thin people.

O King of Assumptionland, what makes you think her friend is a "shallow bitch?" Nowhere in the FML does it even hint to the friend having anything to do with it.

Is that the sound of disgust or an acronym* for "Exceptionally Wide Woman?" *I know the difference between acronym and abbreviation.

That is deliciously fitting. I might use that. :) Oh, and what is lol good sir? Can you conquer where many have failed?

I think you misread the fml, because it says that the friend found the picture on a website not that the friend tagged themselves on the picture...

Op cheer up, who cares what some random people you don't even kno think about you?
