"Into every generation a slayer is born: one girl in all the world, a chosen one. She alone will wield the strength and skill to fight the vampires, demons, and the forces of darkness; to stop the spread of their evil and the swell of their number. She is the Slayer." Congrats, mom!!

Chosen One for what, though? Is she Jesus, the next Harry Potter, the reincarnation of Aang (so the new avatar then), sister of Ash Ketchum, a jedi, the next Frodo Baggins, Dragonborn? Or something else?

In each generation, one girl is chosen to fight vampires, demons and the forces of darkness. She is the slayer.

No one can live up to HARRY POTTER!!!

That's awesome I dunno what your talkin about

Nope, at the end of season 8 the seed that allows magic to be present on earth was destroyed. All the slayers in existence still get to keep their powers, however no more are called (at least until Fray is) and no-one can do magic (or haven't figured out how to yet). Vampires can still be created but they are uncontrollable monsters (termed "zompires") unlike those who were turned before the seed were destroyed have no control over their actions.

Yup. And my friend us batwoman. I can prove it!!

Luke, I am your father... Oh whoops wrong stereo type
