If you really want the change you'll do it, but that really sucks. Best of luck OP!
Why are people down voting this comment? it's factually true, the teacher asked for a three page essay and the topic would be harassment.
If I was in the situation, I'd gladly write 8 pages
I would also write a detailed essay including both the topic of harassment from mentioned ex, and why the teacher is clearly incapable of carrying out their duty of care all people in authoritative/care positions are responsible for for putting OP in this situation to start with... -_-
If you explain the situation and the teacher still doesn't make the change then go above them and go to an principal. There is no reason you should have to feel harassed in school
She/he might also want to let other adults know that their ex harassing them in general. That type of attitude shouldn't be tolerated in school.
If your teacher won't help you then maybe go to a higher up, OP. Teacher's can be assholes for no reason. Or just write a damn good essay.
I don't know how the AP thing works, but if you can talk to him and explain your situation he might pull some strings.
It's not about the AP class, it's just the teacher. :/
AP just refers to Advanced Placement. You then have to take a test through the college board at your school for it at the end of the year. If you do well enough most colleges won't make you take the class again and will give you credit for the class. That is how AP classes work. There is no special treatment. The OP has a problem with the teacher and not the class.
Totally worth it if you really don't want to sit next to them.
Well, at least you'll have plenty to say about her...
Yea I think it would be pretty easy to write
"(Ex's name here) is a *******", copy and paste for 3 pages.
I had a similar idea but I was going to go with "If you don't move me I'll sue" instead.
Tell the teacher that your ex is bullying you and that if you write the essay you will also turn it in to the police. And that you will include a paragraph about how you went to the teacher, let her know you were being bullied and the teacher did nothing to prevent the bullying. Using the word "bullying" should get her attention.
# 23 the police where I live say otherwise. In fact you can land jail time depending the severity of the situation.
Weite the essay I'm sure you have lots to say and it will also help you vent out and leave definite proof that you are not okay seating next to that person and that they are bothering you.
I'm sure you have enough research done to get through this essay. get writing, OP!
