Today, I woke up to my roommates "pet" snake casually lying in bed with me. I then got yelled at for screaming and scaring the snake. Apparently, it's my fault that it bit my chin. FML

okay, so I do have a pet snake, and he has gotten out once (in almost a decade)... so freaking out probably scared him, so yeah, you probably "caused" the bite... but what kind of ******* ass hat pet owner doesn't recognize that if their pet is out of their control, the responsibility for damage that is caused, ultimately falls to them. that really sucks.
