That sounds like something I would say to someone I liked who I didn't think wanted to show her boobs in order to make her think I respected her body, when in fact, I just want to see her boobs. On a slightly different note, and in an effort to increase the exposed boob count of the world, you should have shown them anyway.

Ignore the people saying he was joking, he probably wasn't. There's no reason he would stop you, unless he thought you were horribly hidious. Not saying you are, as I have no idea what you look like, but try looking for a new guy.
