Today, I was talking to this really nice guy who likes me, and he tells me he's packing. I asked him where he was going, he said Puerto Rico. And I said "LUCKY!" He replied "it's for the funeral". I forgot his grandma had died. FML

Eh, I don't think that's really a YDI. A quick "I'm so sorry I can't believe I let myself forget that" fixes the situation pretty easily. We all get spacey sometimes and don't take the time to recall information before we speak. Don't beat yourself up over it.

don't worry; it's completely forgivable. just apologize and be sympathetic.

I do that too when I think my friends are going somewhere on vacation...when they're really going to a funeral...or seeing their sick grandma in the hospital in a different state or country.

yeah, totally thought that was something sexual lol. "packin".

Yeah, I thought this FML was going to take a different direction when: "I was talking to this really nice guy that likes me, and he tells me he's packing" Dirty minds in this thread. :]
