Today, I was having sex with a girl and she passed out about a minute in. I panicked and thought she'd died so I tried to feel for a heartbeat. She woke up 45 seconds later and accused me of fondling her breasts while she was out. Apparently she has narcolepsy. FML

So, you're in the middle of sex and fondling her breasts are what she's concerned about?

Why didn't you check for a pulse on her neck? Much easier

Some people with narcolepsy don't properly store memories of what they were doing just before the episode, or have difficulty accessing their memories when they wake up. It sounds like the lady in the post might be one such person. She really needs to be more upfront about her condition so her sexual partner(s) know what to do if she has an episode while they are having sex. Possibly even wear a medical condition bracelet- if only because there have been cases of people with conditions like narcolepsy being mistaken for dead.

she's the one shud be upset not you, the poor thing passed out today and has narcolepsy thats terrible

Because thinking someone you were having sex with died isn't at all traumatic, even when it turns out that they 'only' forgot to tell you that they have a medical condition that effects their state of consciousness and memory. It's not like those factors together could lead to narcoleptic thinking they were raped or stop you from worrying if you did something morally wrong. Yep, none of that is even slightly traumatic for the non-narcoleptic person. Oh, wait.

That...that is something that you should WARN people about if you're going to be in a situation like that. "Hey, I might pass out abruptly, it's ok, there's nothing wrong" would go a long way to preventing panic attacks, stress, misunderstandings, and possible emergency calls if someone thought she might be dead/dying/injured
