Today, I was at the park with my new boyfriend. We were sitting between some trees, when some of his mates turned up at the park. He pushed me behind a tree so his mates wouldn't see and went to join them in a game of football. He pretended not to know me. FML

Today, I invited my friends to meet up at the park. After asking twice, I finally got the text saying to meet them there. But when I got there, I realized they had already been there for a while. As I was walking up to them, I heard, "Why did you invite him?" FML

I scrolled through and found pictures of him and his ex-girlfriend the weekend before at the same park, posing under the same tree we had taken a photo. We've been together for a year. FML

Today, in the middle of a romantic walk through the park where we had our first date, my husband actually walked into a tree because he was looking at a woman who had sat down on the grass in such a position that he could see up her skirt. Very romantic of him, I must say. FML

Well, maybe it's because you don't seem attractive/gf material at first sight. Maybe he could like you for your personality, which others won't see. He just doesn't have to want to explain how great you really are to the other people who will judge you wrong. That's the best explanation. Most likely he's just being an idiot.

It trully doesn't matter what his motive is. If he's willing to be a great guy and give you hope when you're by yourself, and then ignore you and focus on his friend's when your not alone, then he's just a dick plain and simple and not worth any time. The fact that he didn't just ignore her, and instead refused to say he even knew her, speaks for itself.
