Today, I was at an estate sale of my neighbor who recently passed. I recognized many items for sale that I had ordered or won on eBay from the past 8 years. Turns out the little old lady had been stealing my mail for close to a decade. FML

Today, I found out one of the neighborhood kids has been stealing from my mailbox. Several packages marked "delivered" had gone missing over the last few months, so I set up a trail cam in the yard. I notified the USPS and the police; they confronted him at his house. He's been reselling everything I ordered on eBay. FML
Gone forever
Today, my nice, elderly neighbour died suddenly and I was helping his family sort through his things. I realised a lot of his stuff was familiar. In fact it was a lot of stuff I’d lost over the years, including the year I moved in. The bastard had been stealing things from my house for 9 years. FML
Today, a "friend" tried to sell me a digital camera that I recognized that was stolen from my home a week earlier, along with a few other things. FML
Christmas gifts
Today, while I was home sick from work, my neighbor got packages delivered. Our apartments have had a lot of thefts lately so, being neighborly, I brought her stuff inside to wait. When she came home, I gave them right to her. Instead of thanking me, she told the office that I was the thief all along. FML
Today, I had a garage sale and sold some books I don't read anymore. A woman came up and yelled at me, saying I'd stolen one of the books from her house. I later found out that it was a distraction so that her boyfriend could steal my TV. FML
Today, I bought a new mailbox to replace the old one that was stolen. Two hours after I put the new mailbox up, the old one was back and the new one was missing. FML
Today, I received an email from a shipping company telling me they had dropped off a package of expensive electronics at the front door. Too bad someone stole it before I made it to the door. FML
Renegade neighbor
Today, I have an egregious delinquent neighbor. She is always using internet and electrical services illegally, but is always getting packages from Amazon. Her packages are always left at my place, as she is so afraid of tax collectors, she won't open the door. She gave my billing address without my consent. FML
Today, I realized that I get more mail addressed to the old tenant of my apartment than to me. He hasn't lived here in years. FML
Vinted-ed
Today, my mom sold my watch collection on Vinted. I've spent over 15 years on the collection and I don't even live with my mom. I'm still wondering how she got in. FML

You'd think after the first few items went missing you'd try to find out where they went..

I hear ya OP! I'm in the same boat with my neighbours. I've had many ebay parcels go missing during the 6 years I've lived here. i started off blaming the sellers who swore they sent the items. I tried to track them and was told they were delivered to my door and thats when i i realized it must be a neighbour. i suspect who is responsible but unfortunately the law doesnt allow is to burst into their properties and look for ourselves. cannot prove anything

I hear ya OP! Wow, so many to judge and blame you! I'm in the same boat with my neighbours. I've had several ebay parcels go missing during the 6 years I've lived here. (several, not every single one) i started off blaming the sellers who swore they sent the items. I tried to track them and was told they were delivered to my door and thats when i realized it must be a neighbour/s. im not 100% certain who is responsible but i have my suspicions. unfortunately the law doesnt allow us to just burst into their homes and look for ourselves and to have the cops obtain a warrant to search their home and find nothing would result in a lawsuit for slander or harassment. Which is BS! :( damn those sweet old ladies LOL

Oh I hate the post.. We just got a new mail man around the time I was going to receive hand drawn limited edition, no copies made cards from one of my favorite artists.. All to have my hard work in guessing a long random medical disorder go to waste. I did not get them but everyone else that won got theirs. Needless to say we have the old mail man back and having had any problems with him!

the thing I don't understand is that why would you continue to order items of ebay if u never received them?

Call the police and stop the sale. Then gather your evidence and present it to your neighbors lawyer.
