Today, I started some laundry late at night. Once my clothes were in the washer for about a half hour, I got bored and I decided I would listen to my iPod. After looking for it for another 15 minutes, I remembered where I'd left it; in my jacket... which is now nice and clean. FML

Today, I had to do my laundry. Being too lazy to separate them into different colors, or even check the pockets of my jeans, I threw everything I own into one load. Turns out I had left a tin of lip balm in one of my pockets. My whole wardrobe is now covered in spots that won't come out. FML

Today, I was laughing at a story of a girl who had dropped her cellphone in a hottub and ruined it. As I was feeling pretty good about myself, I then realized that my cellphone was in the pocket of a sweater that I had just thrown in the washer 20 minutes prior. FML

Today, I was washing some clothes in the laundry room at my apartment complex. I went back an hour later, passed my neighbor on the way in, and moved my clothes to the dryer. I just brought them back from the dryer, and all my underwear are missing. FML

@29 - If I look like a creeper, not much I can do. I don't sit here and try and act like one by stalking people or anything. I just make my opinion known. FAIL it's u own fault for not checking. but it should be ok, i left mine out in the rain all night once and it still worked fine the next day

I do have to agree with most everyone here... YDI for not checking your pockets. Even if its not a habit, your brain should have made SOME connection that you wore that jacket and had your iPod so you might want to check and be sure. On a lighter note, lesson learned and it probably wont happen again :)
