Today, I received three big boxes from my mother in law, containing expensive cookware. I was puzzled, because I know that she hates me. Turns out she mailed them to us by mistake. Not only did she not get us anything, but I now have to pay to ship the boxes to her neighbor. FML

Today, after spending $120 to have a bouquet of flowers delivered to my mom, she called to complain that I had forgotten about her for Mother's day, but also praise my sister for apparently receiving my flowers I sent at the door and passing them off as hers. FML

Today, my mom blocked me on everything, kicked me out of her house, and declared that I'm "dead to her." Why? She ordered a package, but it never came. I’m still trying to process how that could possibly be my fault. FML

Today, my friend received a package I sent her by mail. The package was already ripped open on arrival, two out of the three blouses I sent her were missing and a limited edition glass cup I sent her with the apparel was smashed. FML

Today, I got a package containing a present from my grandma. It was a pack of cookies someone gave her for her birthday, and which no one in the family wanted to take home when she offered, because we all found the cookies disgusting. FML

Today, my 81-year-old mother threw out the packaging for a 3-day-old $1,700 monitor I was going to return due to a defect. I live in my own home, but she randomly visits to "clean up" without asking me. Now I'm stuck with an expensive, defective monitor. FML

I wouldn't send them back. I'd keep them, it's her fault it was sent to the wrong person and she should pay for shipping if she wants them sent to the correct place.

Hubbys' mother, Hubbys' problem! There is no way I would have time to mess with her package until well after the holidays and then it's hubbies problem anyway. She can come get them herself and I like the COD idea if she lives out of town. Don't send them dirty that only makes her gossip about you sound true she'll call you a filthy person. It would be tempting to say before you could tell your husband about the error athe had already thrown away the boxes and started using them.

How did she **** up the address that bad? Unless she hates you so much she did it on purpose to get your hopes up and then dash then, and make you pay shipping to send them to someone else.
