Today, I ordered Chinese and told them I was allergic to eggs. I took a bite and I found some egg, quickly spat it out and took my antihistamines. When I returned with it and complained about my potential demise, they gave me a free orange to apologise. I'm allergic to oranges. FML

To all the people who said she almost died, taking an antihistamine is for mild allergies. Not all allergies are death sentences. I get severe stomach pain when i eat blueberries. Yes, it is an allergic reaction, no it wont kill me. Allergy scale goes from a 0(not allergic at all) to a 6(instant death) and i got that information from an astro-physicist who has a 5.6 allergy to fire ants.

allergic to eggs and oranges? Yep, youre allergic to breakfast, man that must suck lok

Do you have Chinese before? You shouldn't order food prepared by others.

Sooooo, let me get this straight. People who have allergies should never go out? That's a bit short-sighted, isn't it?

Orange you glad they didn't give you more Eggs?

noodles are made with eggs. maybe stick to indian instead of asian. or pick foods that you know are not made with egg. how about pizza? egg may be used in the production of the dough. so steamed rice for you,

Stop being such a fragile human being. If we lived in the old times, you'd be screwed.

...They're ******* allergic! What do you expect them to do?!

Hi OP, im a chinese from Malaysia. We Chinese, practice giving oranges because of the symbolic reason. In Chinese, the meaning of orange literally meant "gold." So they really meant well when they offered u "gold" in hopes that they could make it up to u, in regards to their being careless. Nevertheless, i am sincerely sorry for the trauma u had been put through.

It's better than having your family give you something allergic and then take so much Benadryl until you pass out ...
