Your boyfriend has a weird fantasy...
Was his name Oedipus by any chance?
Dude I feel it! I brought my boyfriend over to a family party and they all said he was just like my father. The way he talks and laughs and hugs. I don't see it.. the only thing I notice is that him and my father like similar things, but that's it.
I'm trying to see the silver lining in this but...like.....why....just.....
From what I've read that's supposedly not uncommon/a bad thing. I guess it's hardwired into us or something to look for people similar to our mother (or father if you're female). I wouldn't sweat it.
Let's play the name game; Christian Grey or Oedipus Rex
OH! Oh! Can I try? Potato.
Close, but no cigar, HonestAbe500. Better luck next time!
Many sons favour their mothers' features (as daughters their father's). There's a psychology study that claims many are attracted to people that look like ourselves. Now I'm curious if the OP and boyfriend also look like they can pass as siblings?
Just as long as he doesn't call you Mommy during sex, you'll be OK.
Well at least you'll fit in.
