Today, I had an allergic reaction to my deodorant. My armpits wouldn't stop itching, and by the time my shift was over, they were raw and bloody. FML

Today, my new deodorant caused an allergic reaction, covering my armpits in a painful rash. I've had to awkwardly waddle around all day with my arms splayed outwards to get any relief. One customer at work sarcastically mentioned that it's nice that they're hiring penguins these days. FML

Today, I was getting ready for a very unpleasant doctor's appointment. I got out of the shower and used a new body spray all over my torso and arms. Turns out I'm allergic to it and now my skin is on fire, so now I get to go to an already uncomfortable appointment even more uncomfortable than I'd planned. FML

Today, I was working in a call center when I smelled perfume. I'm allergic, and it triggered my asthma. When I came back, some jerk had sprayed it all over my work area. I couldn't go near it for the rest of my shift, therefore I had to go home early, and got my paycheck docked. FML

Today, I found out I'm allergic to bug repellent. So instead of having a couple of itchy bug bites, my skin feels like it's on fire and is violently itchy everywhere the repellent has touched. FML

Today, I started my job selling perfume in a department store. I decided to be creative and sprayed a little perfume towards the first person who walked by. She had an allergic reaction, and an ambulance had to be called. FML

Damn op, my wife had the same thing happen to her a couple of weeks ago & it was the same brand deodorant she's used for years....bad batch maybe?

Same thing happened to me go to whole foods and buy it from there. It doesn't get itchy at all. It doesn't have most of the things that regular deodorant have.

I have the same thing. Get hypoallergenic deodorant. Works awesome takes a few days to get used to it though.

I am allergic to aloe vera and aloe barbituous (sp?) leaf juice. I found out between the bleeding "heat" rashes from my old tanning lotion and after shaving my pits with my husbands shaving cream. Try to narrow down what your allergic too so u dont run into this problem again cuz it sucks!

If OP was already at work they had probably been wearing it for a bit. Whatever it was about the brand that irritated their skin so much had already been absorbed so I don't know how much help washing would be. If I handle male Guinea Pigs and wash my hands they still burn and itch until I take something.
