Today, I had a job interview. Everything was going well until I noticed a picture of a dog hanging on the wall, which reminded me of the ending of Marley and Me. I started crying and had to be escorted out. FML

Today, my friends thought it would be hilarious to show me Marley and Me the day right after I had to put down my dog. I had my dog for 11 years. FML
Today, I had a phone interview for a job I've had my eye on forever. I was dumped a few hours before the interview, but was okay until I was put on hold with music playing. Me and my boyfriend's song came on and I started bawling. I could hardly talk when they took me off hold. FML
Today, I thought I was finally over my anxiety problem, and confidently went to my first ever job interview. Halfway through, the manager told me that if I didn't stop being so nervous, he couldn't give me the job. I cried. FML
Today, on my way to a job interview, I saw a dog running down the road so I stopped to pet it. It was a wolf. FML
Today, I had a phone interview for a better position at work. I've been training my puppy recently not to bark. I put on dog-calming videos while she was in the kennel. During the interview, my neighbor's dog started barking and my dog immediately responded back. My boss ended the interview. FML
Today, while I was at work, I was on the verge of tears. My coworker asked what was wrong and I explained that I recently had to put my dog down. He then replied, "Cool story, bro. Tell it again." FML
Today, I went to a job interview. I really needed the job to keep my apartment. As I was being interviewed, the manager looked past me and stared off into space. There goes the job and my apartment. FML

Today, I walked out of a job interview feeling confident because I'd really hit it off with the interviewer. He called me an hour later to tell me that I didn't get the job, since he was afraid we'd "get along too well and never get any work done." FML
Today, at my job at a pet store, my boss told me to go outside and hand out flyers. I saw a man sitting on a bench and walked up, saying, "Hi! Do you have a pet?" He teared up and said, "I just put her down this morning." FML

Op, a picture of a random dog makes you bawl your eyes out because it reminded you of a movie? How on earth do you function in public at all?? #48, 96 no you have missed the point lol. It is more excusable for a woman who is PMS-ing to be uncontrollably emotional than a woman who is not PMS-ing or a man who... is not PMS-ing... I get PMS and I notice I am not my normal self at all, I get much crankier and am much more easily upset by little things - something I would normally never do. That's not sexism, that's just hormones.

I've had dogs my whole life and I thought "Marley & Me" was going to get to me, but by the end of that movie, I hated that ******* dog so much I practically cheered when he croaked. I also hated Owen Wilson's character for being such a shit dog owner that allowed Marley to be such a terror. Now, if you can keep it together through "Old Yeller," you are an empty shell.
