Similar thing happened to me, though 3 years is a long long time. After a few weeks of working 12 hour days, one Saturday I was planning to sleep as long as possible. My phone rang at around 8am. It was my sister, who then told me "I'm never up this early on Saturdays." I was just dumbfounded. I really should have unplugged the phone.
