PaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARR!!!
I'm so confused. If your superior stepped in to make the deal happen, how is it not their responsibility? I'm not saying I disbelieve you, just that it's a nonsensical situation. In case you did not know: lawyers will do a free brief consultation to help you figure out if going to court would be a good idea. Some will work free if thet believe in the case, in exchange for a percentage of whatever you win, so it is possible you can take this to court even if you are broke. At least go chat with a few lawyers and see what your options are. Because this seems like an unfair dismissal.
Never do any work that isn't specifically included in your contract or it could end badly for you. I sympathize but YDI.
