Today, I found out that my wife gave me head lice on purpose so I would have to cut off the ponytail that I've been growing since '99. FML

YDI because if your hair was healthy and fine, you wouldn't have to cut it off to get rid of lice, and if your hair was too tangly or something else that meant you couldn't get lice out without cutting it off, then that's just gross.

There's nothing wrong with a man having a ponytail. It's not a gender thing. Some females keep their hair really short. But like a lot of people have said, you don't necessarily have to cut your hair when you have lice. I had lice and I didn't have to cut my hair. There are tons of lice treatments such as shampoos that you can use to get rid of the lice.
