Why are you friends with your parents on Facebook? I've always found that to be a little weird. FB makes things official. Just telling you wouldn't have been enough. Duh.

parents to be banned from facebook... my mum drives me nuts... comments and likes that about everything my friends and I post... make a 'parentbook' .. I could delete her.. but she's a bit unstable

A divorce goes on for months, the house would probably have to be sold. They'd be fighting over who gets what and they wouldn't be living together. There's no way that you could not know.
