Today, I broke my toe. My mom didn't think it was necessary to take me to hospital, opting to give me some painkillers instead. They were so strong that I fell asleep for an hour during my exam. FML

Today, I fell down the stairs and landed heavily on my foot. Because I wasn't crying, my mom refused to take me to the hospital. It took me an hour of agony to convince her. It turned out to be broken in three different places. FML

Today, I had a very important test. Last night, I'd had such bad leg pains that I couldn't sleep, so I took two very strong painkillers and went to sleep pain-free. I apparently accidentally overdosed, because when I woke up, I couldn't see properly or even stand up. And I missed my test. FML

Today, I slipped and fell down the stairs, landing hard on my knee. Through my screams of agony, my mom accused me of exaggerating the pain, and said I was just being an attention seeker, before finally taking me to hospital. I was told my leg was broken. She refused to apologize. FML

Today, I had an ingrown toenail cut out, and the pain medication I received doesn't actually help with the pain. Instead, it makes me high, which results in me losing my balance and slamming my injured toe into objects, and then getting sick from that new pain. FML

Today, I was on autopilot, walking out of the bathroom, and separated my pinky toe from the rest of my toes over the door frame. I dropped to the ground in pain, and my toe and half my foot still hurts hours later. FML

I'm honestly surprised it took until comment 53 for someone to point this out. If those painkillers were prescribed, it's so bad for you to take them, OP. Many times the prescription is tailored to the patient's weight, at least. Sounds to me like the dose was too high for you OP. FYL, hopefully you can make up the exam.

right I broke my right wrist in the beginning of the 2nd quarter of a basketball game. I didn't step off the court or go to a doctor for another week. ps. I am the point guard who is right handed and the go to guy

well tbh thats just silly, breaking a big joint like a wrist is not an endurance test you know. Fair enough if you didn't realise it was broken but if you did and were walking around going "look Im so kewl I am ruining my basketball career to appear macho with a broken wrist" then you are a bit of a numpty. Also a broken foot should really be looked at since its an area that takes a lot of pressure and has many small bones.
