I've had three district managers, and all of them would have been thrilled to get called dude... then again, I may just have strange district managers.

It all depends on where you work. The district manager at billabong gets me with a "dude, how goes?", but the regional manager for Walgreens calls me sir or Mr. Some places are just more relaxed.

If you're a regional manager, you are ******, but if you are a country or zone manager, you could even call him "Dude, bitch!" Corporate humor, FTW!

I've accidentally addressed one of our general managers as dude before. Thankfully he didn't hear me. I recently accidentally said "ma'am" instead of "sir" to our new general manager. I suck ;-)
