Today, at the office, my most annoying client asked me to send her a document. I have now sent it to her over 5 times, in a different format each time, and every single time she replies with, "Not in the requested format". She won't tell me what the requested format is. FML

Tell her you won't give her the document at all until she gives you the format.

I would've sent her empty document 6th time & so on OP

In this case I don't think losing one client would be too bad , less mental stress for you

How frustrating! It bugs me when people don't realize that they're not the only people that you have to deal with and think you have all the time in the world to do things over and over again.

Print out a copy, walk over to her desk and give it to her. She can then scan it and put it into the format she prefers. And you can back to more useful things! ;)

I read it wrong. Your client not co worker.. Still print it out and mail it to her!

Even if OP printed it, it could still be in the "wrong format."

(I'm thinking of document styles, as in different ways to write a paper. I could be and probably am wrong. Lol)

she's computer illiterate. fax it.

Someone that dumb will most likely not know how to operate a fax machine. Maybe use a courier pigeon? Smoke signals? I think clay tablets are still too high tech for that client.

Something tells me she wont tell him EVEN THOUGH he's asked.

What's the frequency, Kenneth, what's the frequency? Send it to her in .bfd format. That's universal.

Did you get that thing ... I sent you? ;)
