Email the supervisor and cc the client
THIS! This 100%. Try your best with what you have and with your deadline. In your email (cc client) explain how you we asked to do this task at the last minute and you have liked to take in account the feedback from the client but you couldn't despite your request for it. If this is the kind of email you can't send to a client (because it has to go through approval and stuff), just do what you can and instead of cc-ing the client, cc your manager's suppervisor so at least someone knows your are not at fault.
Here's what you do: Turn the video into a hardcore porno and use "Take This Job and Shove It" by Johnny Paycheck as the soundtrack. You will either be fired or promoted above your boss and then you can fire him. Let us know how it goes.
Either way record it, because it will be epic.

This just seems like a mindnumbing moronic way of running a business
