I wouldn't much care if I got fired if my boss did something like that. Op shouldn't stand for that kind of bullshit. Tell you boss the guy tried to rob the place and if he wants those kinds of people in his store he can deal with them from now on

Show it anywayRetail is one of the worst jobs out there. It's utterly shocking to see how many customers lack basic manners, and how many workers lack basic people skills.
Something tells me that #18 hasn't worked in customer service for longer than a week. We get this one family that comes in to the restaurant EVERY week, bunch of grown ass women whining like children, there hasn't been a single time that they haven't complained about something. Luckily, my managers know what people are like so they don't take it seriously unless it's a real complaint
If I found that a restaurant was leaving me unhappy week after week, I'd just do something crazy like stop going... I'm assuming they're after freebies?

That's assuming the manager isn't justified in his actions. I'm not saying he is, there is a good chance he isn't, but there is no way to really tell.
I don't know 67, I'm thinking that someone who tried to rob my store gets absolutely no say in how things are run or how the service was. His opinion means nothing and he clearly can't be trusted!
