Today, I was set up on a date by a coworker. The guy turned up late, but whatever. He then spent 30 breathlessly long minutes complaining about his "bitch of an ex." Then he spent another 30 minutes trying to convince me that the QAnon bullshit was real. I had to pull the whole 'fake emergency phone call' to get the hell out of there. FML

As per Google: "QAnon is a far-right conspiracy theory alleging that a cabal of Satan-worshiping pedophiles running a global child sex-trafficking ring is plotting against President Donald Trump, who is battling them, leading to a 'day of reckoning' involving the mass arrest of journalists and politicians." That sounds like a fucking mess. I would have just left at that point, no fake phone call. Just a "you're crazy" and run lol

The moment they turn up late, unless there is an exceptionally good reason, you already know they don't give enough of a shit about other people to even give them common courtesy, so you know before hand what kind of person they are.
