Show me where it hurts

Today, I learned that pregnancy makes me more prone to migraines, but the only pain killer I can take makes me vomit. So I have to choose between being in pain and vomiting for hours on end. FML

I think the ideal choice here would be aim for a diet and supplements specifically designed to significantly reduce migraines. I realize that might not be easy while pregnant, but the supplements(which reduce migraines by around 50%) at least should be easy to take. Also, Caffeine helps a lot of migraine sufferers for immediate relief, but of course don't overdo that while pregnant. And avoid chocolate.

Choose the vomiting. Your husband will feel guilty and you should be able to milk that for some sweet swag.

Can you try ginger ale or ginger beer? Dr. Michael Greger told about a double-blinded randomized clinical study where ginger and sumatriptan were tested side by side. We were more than surprised to learn that ginger was found to be as effective as powerful migraine medication.
