Today, I had to lie to my female roommate about what happened last night. She was drunk and spent half the night cuddling with me and trying to get me to kiss her. I've loved this girl for two years, but I promised her I wouldn't let her cheat on her boyfriend with anyone. Even me. FML

Today, at a bar, a drunk girl kissed me, so I went home and confessed what happened to my girlfriend. She forgave me but took it as permission to admit she’s cheated sexually at least once a month for over a year, then got mad I didn’t immediately forgive her like she forgave me. FML

Today, my roommate made out with this guy I kind of had a thing for. It wasn't a big deal to sober me, but drunk me wasn't having it. I drank half a bottle of vodka, punched a hole in a wall, and cried while laying on the floor. FML

Props to you for not taking advantage. But if you've 'loved' her for two years, then grow a pair and tell her - when she's sober. Life is way too short. She won't hate you, the worst that can happen is she'll be flattered, the best that can happen is you'll get together. Just do it, otherwise look forward to many more lonely nights like that. Also relationships are built on trust, 'had to lie'? BS. If you're going to lie then this relationship is over before it's even begun.
