Public freakout

By selfdefense - 12/10/2009 04:16 - United Kingdom

Today, a customer at work became violent and started hitting me and my coworker. Not wanting him to get the shit beat out of us, I used a move that pinned the guy on the ground. The police came and he was arrested. I was then fired for assaulting a customer. FML

Same thing different taste

How could you?

Today, I briefly had the coolest boss in the world. He stormed over to a nasty customer who was giving me hell, and he absolutely laid into her. It lasted about 10 seconds before he collapsed from a major heart attack. A coworker's already blamed me for not pacifying the customer in the first place and causing all this to happen. FML

If the person is assaulting employees or other customers, they are no longer considered a customer.

Oh wow. That sucks. What did your boss expect? That you would let this guy beat the crap out of you and your co-worker? :S Oh those bosses these days.

I hate businesses that don't stand behind their employees when they defend themselves

It was in self defense, and wrongful termination

im pretty sure it's considered self defense. So go to HR hell maybe this is a valid reason to sue

It seems that that bullshit zero tolerance policy even applies to facilities outside of schools.
