Today, I’m 5 months pregnant. I really wasn’t feeling my best, so I called in sick. My boss responded with how my “selfish time off requests” are messing with the company’s production, and it’s not the company’s fault a “dude splashed inside me.” She told me to come in or “my kid goes hungry.” FML

Yeah, that's technically not legal. So, I'd suggest gathering evidence for a lawsuit while searching for another job.

I don't agree with how your boss handled it but I do understand the frustration. I had to deal with constant pregnancies in WFM and its not easy dealing with pregnant women. Now granted this was in the Middle East and the government would treat pregnant women as royalty which gave most of them a sense of entitlement
