Never get involved

Today, I was working for my cousin. However, two weeks ago I found out my cousin's wife was cheating on him, through lying to her best friend. I told him, and he later told her. They've apparently made up, because I got fired. FML

Imagine the amount of denial it takes to fire your own cousin to stay ignorant if your wife's affair.

imagine surrounding yourself with people who don't tell you the truth when it really matters. call me crazy but I'd rather surround myself with people who are honest. I guess ignorance really is bliss for some people though

Surrounding yourself with people who don't tell you the truth? Sounds like pretty much every upper-manager, frankly.

Well, **** his life worse at least, he's clearly a massive idiot.

You would think that most people would want to know when their spouse cheats on them, however most will most people will instead choose to live in ignorance. It's the same way when people tell someone that their relationship is toxic. The person will convince themself that the other person is jealous of their happiness and then instead blame that person for their issues. That is why most of the comments state to mind your own business, because it never ends well for the person pointing out the truth.
