Misjudged

Today, I was leaving work after a storm. They're building some new offices outside, so I had to walk on an uneven path near the construction zone. I came to a big puddle and tried to jump across to what I thought was a piece of asphalt. It was mud. I slipped and fell backwards into the puddle. FML

Well look on the bright side; at least you were leaving work and not going to it and spending the day in those drenched clothes :P

Sorry, how do you not know the difference between mud and asphalt? They can look *similar* but I've never mistaken one for the other. But, FYL, man.

I worked as a Union Electrician and in new construction as well as old they have to provide a safe "pedestrian zone" so you must have been walking were you shouldn't have

Not in Connecticut, USA. They don't. They should, but the majority of them don't and no-one makes them.
