Lost the fight

Today, I found a hornet's nest in the backyard, so I called my brother over to take a look. He said "Hmm, wonder how fast you can run…" then hurled a rock at the nest and sprinted back to the house. I wasn't so fast. I now feel like someone's beaten me half to death with a cactus. FML

Easy solution: Buy a cactus and beat him with it.

Your brother is not a very nice person. Glad you aren't allergic and didn't die!

Kind of reminds me of 'Animal Crossing' for the DS when you shake trees looking for money/presents, but a bees nest falls out and 9 times out of 10 they'd sting you, regardless if you run or not! But OP, it could have been a lot more serious for you with the hornets! If you had a smaller body mass you or got more stings, you could have easily been killed! Hope your Christmas isn't too ruined and that your bro gets a kick up the ass for disturbing the nest in the first place.

Well that's gotta hurt. He should've told you to run before him, so you wouldn't get stung.

I hope your parents whooped his ass for that.

If your brother is older than 7 or 8, he should be very seriously punished. You could have been killed.

Rule #1: if it can hurt you, do NOT, under any circumstances, point it out to a sibling.

When I was little, I had a swing set in the backyard that bees absolutely loved. They built about 30 nests inside, and there were so many that we couldn't get rid of it until winter when they all died. My demonic cousin took me up there on the hill when I was 4 years old and kicked it before running away. She told my parents that I did it. I couldn't even open my eyes, as they stung mostly my face.
