Today, I went to my long-distance boyfriend's party. His best friend was talking to me and trying to make conversation, he asked, "So, are you two official?" I responded with a definite yes, but was cut off mid-word by my boyfriend, who quickly said, "No, not really." Sorry, I wasn't aware, darling. FML

Today, my ex said "I love you!" for the first time at a party in front of my boyfriend. Smugly satisfied, I said "Well, you're too late for that." My ex looked at me with irritation and said "I'm talking to him!" and gestured to my boyfriend. They'd been "best friends" since middle school. FML

Today, my boyfriend proposed to me. I said yes. This caused him to panic, excuse himself, then take it back via text message a half hour later, claiming he'd been drunk. We live together. When he comes back home, it's going to be very awkward indeed. FML

Definitely FYL. I was in a wonderful relationship that went long distance for several years. It was probably one of the best relationships I've had. Wishing you guys luck on figuring out what you need to do to get it afloat, or happy hunting if you ever need to abandon that ship.

With LDR especially you kind of need to estabilsh the seriousness of a relationship... FYL for him leading you on.. or maybe YDI if you didn't bother to try and find out/ didn't see obvious signs
