It’s kind of a cheesy line, so she might have laughed off that, and not because the concept is silly to her. Depending on what she’s like, she may even enjoy a good dose of cheese. Talk to her and work it out from there.

What is that, about 7 miles at most? "To the moon and back" is over 500,000 miles, so your love is at the level you might give a stapler or a hole punch. Love of pets is usually on the order of 10s of thousands of miles, for reference sake.
