Indoctrination?

Today, we were discussing evolution at the super-religious school I'm forced to attend. I mentioned homo sapiens, and my teacher mockingly replied, "You actually believe in homo sapiens? Hahahah!" The whole class started laughing. No, not at the teacher; at me. FML

I feel your pain I once attended a super christian school, shit suck what's worse my mom was principal. and had to kick me out for drinking and having sex. you should bring up that the earth is millions of years old to to really **** with them.

Really? That Sounds like they're messing with your education. I would just study it behind their backs or something. They obviously don't care about your education. Especially if they are going to laugh at you about it. The teacher was totally unprofessional.

I went to public school most of my life and then I attended a private Christian school my junior and senior. Once I started the curriculum I noticed that it was all completely Christian based and omitted so much history in history class. It was disconcerting to me because some children were there from the very beginning. They only knew what was being fed to them.
