Hypochondriacs of the world unite!

Today, I was woken up at 2 in the morning by my wife frantically saying something about her having scabies, and that I had to take her to the ER. It turned out to be eczema. FML

Eczema can be a lot worse than most people think. I got it, and in two days it was all over my body. It was like having a fever, I was burning up, my skin was hot. I could sleep for about 90 minutes then had to get up and ice my skin to cool down and halt the itching. This lasted for about two weeks. If there had been snow outside I'd have jumped in it for relief.

Hey, at least it was a real disease. You could have had that inconvenient, expensive debacle and come home with a diagnosis of the creeps, the willies or, gasp! the heebie-jeebies!

Your wife waking you up because she worried about her health and you losing sleep because you have to go to the hospital I feel is acceptable. What if it was worse then what it was. You would feel like a jerk.
Plus if/when you have kids it probably won’t be the last time you go to the hospital in the middle of the night
