Hit and trundle

Today, it was supposed to be my last day of work before flying off on my first foreign holiday in 4 years. Some bastard on an electric scooter ran into me at the bus stop and broke my leg so badly the doctors say I need pins and a metal cage. Waiting for surgery now. So long holiday, maybe next year, eh? FML

No, I doubt it. Look forward to lots of time in hospitals, physical therapy and in the legal system. Hopefully, Scooter Prick has deep pockets.

Sounds like you’ll be waiting for your next trip on pins and needles. Also, the scooter rider seems to have done a bang-up job on making sure you have a memorable 2022 without even needing to leave the country!
