That sucks, and it could really really suck. Toxoplasma gondii is a serious parasite in cat poo, and if the poo actually got in your eye it's really easy to become a host. Maybe mention this incident to your doctor next visit. Maybe get a test. It's curable.

toxoplasma takes 3 days to incubate once expelled from the host in order to enter the infective life stage and you have to ingest the larva in the feces. More likely they'll get pink eye.
