Hello?

Today, I woke up completely deaf, for no reason. My doctor told me my hearing loss, "could possibly be permanent." I’m a composer. FML

well beethoven went deaf, and still composed an additional 189 pieces of music, so if he could figure it out, so can you. you can always get hearing aids to help you also.

I am surprised the doctor did not immediately start you on prednisone. I would get a second opinion - potentially from a neurotologist (different from a neurologist). I hope you regain your hearing soon!
